Channelling a tough dancefloor sound that's somewhat akin to fellow D&Bsters Ulterior Motive and A.I, Octane & DLR go in with stuttered beats, a smattering of sampled vocal snippets and a super gnarly b-line on "Back In The Grind". Elsewhere Dispatch Recordings label manager Ant TC1 teams up with Octane for a rather moodier incarnation in "District". A smooth intro gives way to a troubled Renegade Hardware-esque haven, laden with dark, brooding vibes and disconcerting vocal samples. This is classic Dispatch stuff, from a label that's been around since the D&B heyday in 2001.
