A successful hook-up between Sam Ashwell (Abstrakt Knights) and Dan Havers (DC Breaks), Vent have dropped a steady stream of winners over the last few years, including their recent mix of Example's "Won't Go Quietly". The quality continues with this EP, with the menacing bass of "Crystallite" rocking a hip-hop tempo and some very healthy Prodigy-esque vibes. "Silicon Age" is even more ferocious, a huge D&B tune packed with some epic drums while "Warex 351" takes it back to a breakbeat tempo with plenty of squelchy bass goodness packed in.
